Chinese blackjack is one of the blackjack variants that can be seen as more exotic when compared to others. How to play Chinese blackjack?
The thing to note here is that the Chinese blackjack game is designed to be played against the dealer; so you don’t have to worry about the number of players. You have a similar target by the fact; that you need to get a total of 21 as fast as possible without going over that number. The cards are similar to the regular blackjack however the difference is that the aces have a difference value. All the face cards have a value of 10. In the case of aces the card value can differ.
The idea here is that if you have two cards an ace can be 10 or 11; but if you have three cards the ace can be 1 or 10. Yes, this is slightly different and it does come with some slight repercussions as you play which is something that you have to keep in mind at all times.
How is it dealt?
The dealer Chinese blackjack will start by shuffling the cards and a player will cut the deck. The removed portion will be placed aside and each player will receive two cards with the faces down. The dealer will also receive cards but he will be the last to do so.
When it comes to the player options, you do have multiple options to choose from and the way you use them all comes down to your approach and the desired gameplay opportunity. You can either do a ban ban when you get two aces and you become the winner; or you will have a ban-nag which is basically the same with a regular blackjack. Another set of notions you have to keep in mind are the 5 Dragon and the Escape Hand that are just a pleasure to enjoy and which deliver some very good results to begin with.
The thing to note in Chinese blackjack is the fact that the house or the dealer; do have some advantage over the player which makes it really hard to win at times. You can indeed get two or even 3 times your bet which is why many do play Chinese blackjack very often and you should consider doing that as well.
